The Municipality wishes to inform you that umbrella borrowing bylaws 03-25 and 04-25 are deemed to have been approved by those eligible to vote.

03-25 : Umbrella borrowing bylaw 03-25 authorizing a loan and an expenditure of $ 505,000.00 for the paving of Braun Road 

04-25 : Umbrella borrowing bylaw 04-25 decreeing an expenditure and a loan of $750,000.00 for the purchase of vehicles and equipment for the Public Works Department

The Municipal Council has adopted the 03-25 Borrowing bylaw for Braun Road and Umbrella borrowing bylaw 04-25 decreeing an expenditure and a loan of $750,000.00 for the purchase of vehicles and equipment for the public works department  at the ordinary meeting of April 8, 2025. Certain provisions may be subject to a referendum request.

At the regular meeting on October 8, 2024, a notice of motion was given to announce the intention to present a bylaw concerning the remuneration of municipal officials. The draft bylaw was tabled and presented during the same meeting.

In accordance with the Act respecting the remuneration of elected municipal officials (R.S.Q., c. T-11.001), BYLAW 17-24, establishing the remuneration of municipal officials, will be adopted at the regular meeting on November 12, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at the Luskville Community Center, located at 2024 Route 148, Pontiac.

The following bylaw projects were submitted during the meeting on May 22, 2024:

• Bylaw 11-24: Repeal and replacement of By-Law 177-01 on zoning
• Bylaw 12-24: Repeal and replacement of By-Law 179-01 on construction
• Bylaw 13-24: Repeal and replacement of By-Law 178-01 on subdivision
• Bylaw 14-24: Repeal and replacement of By-Law 176-01 on permits and certificates

A public consultation meeting took place on September 11, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the Luskville Community Centre to discuss the projects and gather participants' comments.
